I love this! Finally a place to keep titles of books, covers and all!
Slow blog learner!
I thought I had posted all my comments over the last couple of weeks to my blog–but they weren’t there! I had hit “save” not “publish”. I was able to go into my postings and click “edit” and from there, publish each posting to my blog! Vwalah!! I have something to say!!
More fun stuff
I tried a couple of other generators: the birthday cake one was a bit lame but I liked the buttonmaker one. I’m going to try to upload the saved image of my button to my blog.
Fun stuff
I LOVE the Generator Blog!!!
I just made my own flavour of Ben and Jerry’s ice cream–chocoholic cherry!! It has a chocolate ice cream base with cherries and chocolate fudge chunks and marshmallow swirled through it. The website showed me what the container would look like too!
more about wikis
I can see using wikis both in the library world and out as an exchange of ideas, like a virtual bulletin board.
I love to sew and I subscribe to a magazine that has dozens of tips and letters to the editor to make sewing easier, more fun etc. A wiki would be a great forum for this.
RSS
OK, so now I have experienced RSS feeds! I have added two feeds to my favourites list using IE7…NYT book review and Globe and Mail review.
Wikis
About Wikipedia–I really can’t justify using this as a credible resource when anyone can edit it. I mean, really…if a child is doing a project on squirrels, going to Wikipedia could give him the info that they don’t fly but they do walk on water on the fourth Thursday of every month, right?
Hello world!
Who would have ever thought that “mouse” would become a verb and blog would be a word?
